Has anyone seen Ghost Stories that is currently playing on the stage in London? My wife and I will be landing on Sunday and this is one of the shows we are thinking about going to.

It looks amazing-I'm hoping that it tours or at least has another run in Liverpool because I'm desperate to see it. Have you seen the trailer?

I'll definitely have my wife watch the trailer today. It has me convinced. We land at 10:45 Sunday morning and I know there is a 5:00 showing that day. I'm hoping we can see it then.

Thanks for the trailor Lilith, that looks genuinely scary, sort of how they hyped up Paranormal Activity though, but who knows. First I've heard of this so maybe it is as thrilling as the trailor makes it out to be. Guess we'll have to wait for someone to watch it to really find out!

Well, my wife and I went to the 5:00 show last Sunday (August 1st) after we landed. We sat in the first row in the 1st and 2nd seat closest to the stairs leading to the stage. If you buy seats the day of the show they have a special of $25 pounds per ticket for the front row (they call it the scare seats).
The show itself wasn't bad. Basically it starts out with a parapsychologist that comes onto the stage to give a presentation on the paranormal. He then leads the show into the first of three ghost stories and comes back onto the stage to introduce each of the other two. The first story was great, the 2nd was good, and the 3rd was kind of boring. Overall we enjoyed ourselves and the show is only about 70 minutes long. Initially we went to the TKTS booth at Leicester Square to buy our tickets but they didn't have any and told us to just go to the theatre and buy them. The TKTS booth said the show wasn't very popular, but for a Sunday afternoon the theatre was pretty full. My recommendation would be to go see it if as long as you don't have to pay full price (online that is 45 pounds per ticket). |

Glad you got to enjoy it mate... How did you like London and England as a whole?.. Did you get to see much else and was it the first time you've been?
