The bad thing is they are not really willing to give refunds on tickets already sold. The promoter said that if you send him an email and explain there is no way you can make it next May then he will refund them, otherwise you are SOL at this point.

TFW could do that, but they won't. Plus the hotel that TFW has to use for one more year would not be nearly big enough for all of those guests. I'm really hoping that TFW does an Evil Dead reunion show next year.

Wow I would be pissed if I had put money into going to this and then the damn convention was moved to a whole year later. Damn Karma's a bitch and these fools are fucking w/ her whilst she's on her period. I would sue if I couldn't get any of my money back from booking airlines, and hotels.

For those in the DFW area tonight beginning at 6:00 they are showing three F13 movies at the Studio Movie Grill for free. This is to try and makeup for the convention being moved to next May and the fact that some people couldn't change their travel plans and so they were coming to Dallas this weekend anyway. Supposedly they will give priority to getting in to those that already purchased tickets for the convention.
Unfortunately they are showing 2 of the 3 (in my opinion) worst F13 movies made. They are showing 5,7, and 8. As of right now they have announced that Kane and Ari will be there with others TBA. They also plan on having the headliners for the concert (OTEP) playing at Trees on Saturday night. I think this may be free also. At least they are trying to makeup for this cluster, but I think I will be skipping this (my wife already told me she has no desire to tonight). |
