Lionsgate’s The Last Exorcism has landed the more commercially viable PG-13 rating from the Motion Picture Association of America. The reasons given is “for disturbing violent content and terror, some sexual references and thematic material.“

The film stars Patrick Fabian, Iris Bahr, Louis Herthum, Ashley Bell, Tony Bentley, Caleb Jones, Shanna Forrestall, Allen Boudreaux, Denise Lee, Becky Fly, Logan Craig Reid, and Jamie Alyson Caudle. It was penned by
Huck Botko and Andrew Gurland, while Daniel Stamm was at the helm.

The Last Exorcism opens on August 27th.
