Interview: Writer-Director Tom Holland

Awhile back, and over the course of several days, I had the pleasure to speak with the accomplished writer-director Tom Holland. He delves into his career that now spans four decades and includes such memorable hits like “Psycho II,” “Fright Night,” and of course, the original “Child’s Play”. We also delve into the exciting projects he’s recently been working on like “Tom Holland’s Driven” and his “Masters of Horror” episode “We All Scream For Ice Cream”.

“Sid Haig Interview”

I have to thank Sid Haig for taking a couple of hours out of his time to speak to me. He is truly a great guy, and so intelligent. This was probably one of the thrills of my life to speak to him, and I thank him again.

MIKE RUSSO (HD): How did you get into acting?

SID HAIG: That’s a long story, but I will try to condense it. As a kid my parents got me into dancing, and that was the first paying gig I had. Then as I became a teenager I started a band. We ended up being signed by Sam Cook’s record label. Though we didn’t have national success, we did have 6 top ten regional hits. After I finished my music career I went to an acting school, and my career started there.

MIKE RUSSO (HD): You have been in so many great classic TV shows. One of my favorites that you appeared in, was the 1966 TV show Batman. Which you were on twice. What was that experience like?
